Storm connection issue - Any support?

Hi there

I've now the second Storm - and the same issue as with the first one:

I could set it up, I have it on my Dashboard.

When Stome ist pluged to the dongle, ist's broadcasting datas and flashing every 30s green.
When I unplug it, it's not flashing anymore and sending no datas.....
The battery is fully charged / resetting done more than once.

As I already wrote to the customer support, but didn't get any answer (is there still any support???) I'm trying to get my Storm running with your help...

Thanks for the post. I had responded to your email on the 1st, just making sure you received the response, or had you sent another email? I have not seen it yet and if you do not mind, could you send it again? It is likely a battery issue as we discussed and your return would be processed through Galaxus.

The one I've now is a replacement - and still facing issues!
Are all Storms facing now battery issues?

can the battery be replaced? - I think I've red somewhere something about how to replace the battery....

A nice and complete manual would also be nice... So I could check what's going on with the LEDs. The manual delivered with the device - and what I could find online so far is just poor.

Hello Matthias,

Based on your description the battery in the Storm is defective on arrival.

The battery level indicator is showing misleading values and can’t be used for any troubleshooting.

I replaced the battery - it seams to work now....
But isn't it a shame to sell something where you first have to replace the internal battery to get it work....?
I mean I didn't get it for free - if I would have, it wouldn't be an issue..

It is great to hear. Would you mind to post in the Storm-S1 Battery and Replacement Instructions thread above what battery you have used and where you have bought it? It will help others.


There are some discrepancies in the manuals and so the reality can be different.
