Where is my wind speed?

Why am I just getting a reading on direction but no wind speed? I am in Wyoming....where the wind seems to always be blowing. I have reset but this did not fix the issue.

Same problem here. Wind direction works, but speed is off. In the Netherlands the wind always.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the post, this could be related to your STORM’s firmware version. Please list your device name here so that I may check on this for you. I have already pushed an update to Jurgen to test out for me.

To have the update take hold please bring in your STORM and plug it back into your dongle, leave the STORM plugged in for about 2 hours for the update to take hold. It will then be safe to take outside and test.

Thanks for the response Bart. I have gone ahead and pushed the update to you. While you have it down you may want to click that reset button next to the usb as well.

anemometer has seized up, on my storm. I can rotate it by hand but it will lock up almost immediately after about fifty to 200 revolutions.

is there a way to clean or replace bearings or this part of storm?
